What customer need does this solve?
The earlier demos focused on putting data into the system: leave requests, expense claims, cash advances, purchase orders, invoices, ecommerce orders, and e-signatures. But leaders do not digitize work only to store it. They need to know where operations stand, what money is exposed, and where adoption or workload is concentrated.
The customer need is to remove the delay between work happening and someone seeing the number needed to make a decision.
What the solution should solve
The solution should give different roles different views over the same source of truth. Ops Overview answers where work is stuck or moving across processes, with a live activity log of recent decisions. Finance Overview answers how much money is waiting for approval versus already committed, broken down by process instead of hidden in one vague number.
IT Admin Overview answers a different question: who is using the platform and where request volume is concentrated. That gives the team a practical signal for where to invest in training, automation, or process cleanup next.
Trade-offs and alternatives
The benefit is decision speed. Nobody has to wait for a weekly spreadsheet to know current workload, exposure, or adoption. The trade-off is that dashboards only stay useful when they read from real workflow events, not hand-maintained summary tables.
Alternatives include monthly Excel reporting, standalone BI built after the fact, or reports owned by each department separately. Those approaches can summarize history, but they often lose the live connection between request, approval, payment, and operational decision.
Conclusion
Ops Reports close the loop. From the first form filled out to the decision made in a management meeting, the platform turns daily activity into a connected story visible to everyone who needs to act on it.
